Is there a BBQ?

Yes, there are 2 Weber BBQ’s in a covered space. We also provide BBQ tools.

Where is Sahhali on the Bluffs located?

See our location page for details. We are located on one of the highest vantage point to see Vancouver Island and both US and Canadian Gulf islands.

Which suites have an Ocean view?

All our rentals have south facing, Ocean views. Our property is high above and very peaceful.

What do the guest experience on their stay?

The most common reaction when they enter and see the view their reaction is “Oh my god” or “Wow”. They tell us the pictures don’t do justice. The most common thing we notice people relax and get very deep sleep and mention “it is so peaceful here” and “I feel so relaxed”. Many of our guests are repeat visitors.

What activities are on Pender Island?

See our location page as it has a list and details on activities. We also share details of all beaches and parks in our check-in instructions. Pender Island has many hiking options and beaches to relax.


Know-before-you-go.

-Pender Island does not have garbage service. Please prepare to make arrangements.
-Cooking is not allowed in the suites. But it has a Coffee machine, a toaster, a microwave, mini fridge. There are 2 Weber BBQ’s for guests.
The Cottage has a FULL Kitchen.
-Book your ferry ride ASAP.

House Rules

  • Security Deposit Required of $300(CAD hold/authorization only) to be processed by the Host on the Guest's Credit Card the day before check-in.

  • Minimum age to rent is 21.

  • NO pets. 

  • NO parties/events.

  • Quiet Hours are from 21:00 PM - 08:30 AM.

  • No Smoking on Oak Bluffs Road, including SOTB property (1KM Radius) till Pirates Road.

  • Strictly Prohibited: In the East and West Suites: Cooking, use of hot plate, air fryer. (If staying in The Cottage, the use of the full kitchen for these activities is permitted).

  • No burning candles, open flames, etc.

  • No campfires

  • We are on well water, so please use water with care.

  • No loud music which could discomfort other guests and patrons on the property or neighbours.

  • The owner's home and manager's suite is restricted past the steps and garage.

  • Max 2 guests per Suite/max 5 guests in cottage

  • Park in the designated spot

  • There is no garbage service on the island. Please take your garbage on your return. Alternatively, drop your garbage at Trussfarms for $8 per bag. We charge +/-$100 for a garbage bag through a 3rd party service if left behind.
